My journey in electrolysis began under the mentorship of Sheri Williams, CPE, in Roswell, Georgia where I completed my professional apprenticeship. Becoming a CCE (Certified Clinical Electrologist) was the next important milestone in my career. The CCE exam, offered by The Society of Clinical and Medical Hair Removal, is a nationally recognized credential that demonstrates advanced knowledge and clinical proficiency in electrolysis. Preparing for the exam involved in-depth study of skin anatomy, hair growth cycles, electrolysis modalities, safety standards, and client care. Passing the exam affirmed my commitment to providing the highest level of care and professionalism in permanent hair removal. I’m proud to carry the CCE designation as part of my commitment to excellence in the field.

Electrolysis is the only method of permanent hair removal approved by both the FDA and AMA.
It works by inserting a small probe, matching the hair’s diameter, into the hair follicle and applying a controlled electrical current to destroy the hair’s growth center. Once the follicle is properly treated it will no longer be able to produce hair.

Yes! Electrolysis has been used since 1875 when it was invented by Dr. Charles Michel, an ophthalmologist in St. Louis, to remove ingrown eyelashes. It is a safe and effective treatment when performed by a board-certified electrologist.

The number of sessions varies based on factors like hair type, area being treated, and individual hair growth cycles. Multiple treatments are needed to achieve full, permanent results. Your personalized plan will be discussed during your consultation. That said, I will never be able to definitively give a specific amount of time that it will take to complete your treatments.

Most clients describe the sensation as slight heat or stinging. Pain tolerance varies, but I use the most current, state-of-the-art equipment and can adjust settings to help maximize comfort.
